About the Partnership Conference
The Barking & Dagenham Partnership is a very broad gathering of people. To be a member of the Partnership is simply to be committed to working towards its aims and 
values. At its heart, our members are those who are committed to improving the quality of life of the residents of the borough.
Some people are members of Partnership Boards because of their particular role or because of expertise that they have. However, the Partnership could not function effectively with just those board members. The full membership needs a voice. We need to involve the full range of officers from across local public services, officers in the community and voluntary sectors, as well as local business people, and we need to give them a way to influence the way the Partnership works. The bi-annual conference is just one way of doing that.
