Governing the Partnership

Cover of the Barking & Dagenham Partnership Governance Manual Governance Framework - Barking and Dagenham Partnership

  Partnership Structure charts

The Partnership Governance Framework describes how Barking and Dagenham Partnership is managed, including how the Partnership Boards are operated, membership of the Partnership and our Code of Conduct.

The current draft was consulted upon before a presentation to Public Service Board for ratification on 17 March 2010.  In ratifying the document, Public Service Board noted that it is an attempt to set down the current systems and processes for managing the Partnership, with a view to there being further review during 2010 as the Partnership evolves to meet emerging challenges.

Comments are still welcomed as further work is undertaken and, if you would like to let us know any comments you may have, please email them to partnership@lbbd.gov.uk.

*Update 1/4/10*  Thank you to everyone who submitted comments.  We are currently working to include them in the revised draft under the guidance given by Public Service Board at their meeting on 17 March.  If you are interested in progress, check back here periodically.

Information governance

Working in partnership requires the efficient and safe sharing of information between organisations.  Arrangements are in place to govern how this is handled in Barking and Dagenham.  Click here for details.
