Welcome to the Barking and Dagenham Partnership web site

Barking and Dagenham Partnership is the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham's Local Strategic Partnership. The partnership is a partnership of our communities and it informs us about what is important to them and what changes will improve life in Barking and Dagenham. We aim to bring together the public, private, voluntary and community sectors locally to help raise the pride and promote the profile of Barking and Dagenham and deliver what our communities want, so that local people continue to feel proud to live, work and spend leisure time in the borough.

Strategies and plans for Barking and Dagenham Partnership are available through these pages. Our Community Strategy exists to provide a clear sense of purpose for our partnership. You can see a copy of our existing Community Strategy, Building Communities Transforming Lives by following the link. Following wide consultation, we are producing a new Community Plan this year. Once the document is complete it will be available here.

Local Area Agreement

The Barking and Dagenham Partnership has continued to adapt to the needs of our communities, our partners and Government initiatives like the Local Area Agreement (LAA). Our current LAA was adopted by the Council on 25th June 2008. You can see a copy of our LAA and the previous LAA at Strategies and Plans.

Conferences and Meetings

We currently hold two LSP conferences every year. A Calendar of Partnership Events shows the main meeting dates of our boards.
