Valence House, Valence Library and Valence Park
On 21 April 2012, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham will be celebrating St Georges Day at Valence Park and in the grounds of Valence House. To find out more information come and have a look at our leaflet
The park and the house will provide a stunning back drop for the ever popular event this year’s attractions will include art and craft workshops, Knights of the Crusades medieval re-enactment show, the Royal Golden Eagle Archery Display and falconry displays, not forgetting the spectacular dragon parade with where everyone can get involved with the theatrical slaying, played out by St George himself.
As part of the family fun day there will be plenty of singing, dancing and other festivities including a treasure and dragon hunt, face painting.
Valence House and Library will have a range of exciting family activities inside and around the grounds of the House. There will be plenty of activities for children to enjoy.
Fun for all the family starts at 11.00am and goes on until 4.00pm.
