**** Update **** The new JSNA website can be accessed here.
Welcome to the pages for the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) for Barking & Dagenham for 2011. The document was authorised by the Shadow Health & Wellbeing Board on 27 September, and formally approved by the Council's Cabinet on 18 October.
The partnership has based the JSNA around the themes arising from the Marmot Review of Health Inequalities, a major review of the national approach to tackling inequalities in health outcomes across the population. The six major themes represent the headings for sections 2-7 of the JSNA.
The full document exceeds 500 pages. Here it has been broken down for ease of reference. Clicking the section headings, below, will open a 'pdf' full text of the section (your document will open in this window; if you want to open it in a new window, right-click and select 'Open in New Window'). You can also download 4- and 32-page summaries of the JSNA.
If you have any comments or queries regarding the contents of the JSNA or the process for future refreshes, please email jsna@lbbd.gov.uk
